Getting engaged is such an exciting time—and once the celebrations settle, it’s a great moment to start thinking about your wedding photos. Here are 5 things to consider early on:

Set your date and venue.

Photographers often book up quickly, especially for popular months. Having your date and venue locked in means you can secure someone whose work you love before they’re fully booked.

Find a photographer that feels like the right fit.

It’s not just about pretty pictures—it’s about connection and trust. Look for someone whose style and approach feel natural, and who makes you feel at ease.

Decide how much of the day you want covered.

From short and sweet coverage to full-day storytelling, think about what parts of the day matter most to you—and choose a package that reflects that.

Pre-wedding or engagement shoot.

This is such a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, ease any nerves, and get a feel for what it’ll be like working together on the big day.

Start gathering inspiration.

Save photos you love—whether it’s the vibe, the light, or the emotion. I’ll never copy a photo but it helps bring your vision to life and gives your photographer a glimpse into what speaks to you.

My half and full day packages include an Engagement/ Pre Wedding Session.

Next Steps

Once you've decided to book, I'll send over a link to your contract and invoice via my client portal. As soon as the signed contract and initial payment are in, your date is officially reserved in my calendar - exciting! You'll then receive my wedding guide full of helpful tips and reccommendations to help you feel inspired and prepared.

For half day and full day packages, payment can be made in easy installments to suit you.

On the Day

You can expect relaxed, beautiful photos that truly reflect your day. I'll guide you gently and help you feel at ease. No awkward posing, promise! If being with your guests is a priority, I'll make sure we get the magic without taking you away for too long.
